Position Summary

Inpatient Physical Therapist:

Responsible for evaluating, planning, directing and administering physical therapy services in an acute care setting.  Caseload includes primarily adult population with variety of medical, orthopedic and neurological diagnosis.

Requirements:
  • Perform priority evaluations for all populations/units throughout hospital (including ICUs, ED, outpatient surgeries).
  • Be flexible and adaptable in juggling priority discharge patients (triage and communicate with discharge planning, MDs, NSG).
  • Assist with co-treats/heavy assist patients that primary therapist does not already have help for.

Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.  NC PT License required. CPR Certification required.
