Sterile Processing tech for Richmond OR

We support the OR here at Richmond with regards to cleaning, decontaminating and sterilizing instrumentation.  

The sterile processing tech is proficient in instrumentation, sterilizers and high pressure washers.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Wash, process and sterilize instrumentation for surgery
• Maintain sterilizer records
• Maintain count sheets for instrument trays in T-doc
• Coordinate instrument repair with OR director and instrument repair service
• Must be able to lift heavy trays
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and with a team

Will maintain required departmental competencies annualy.
